Services Provided:
Tables and chairs owned by the club will be set up as requested prior to the event and taken down. Set-up of rental tables and chairs is not a club responsibility.
Ordinary cleanup is covered. Extra cleaning or additional use of the facilities will affect your deposit.

Before reserving a tent please contact the Function Manager. Other events at the club may affect the set up and removal times.
Wooden chairs may be used only outdoors (typically with the tent), because they damage the hardwood floors in the Clubhouse. Rental chairs of manmade material are permitted for use in the Clubhouse.
Setup:
At least two weeks before your event you need to discuss with the Function Manager:
Catering arrangements (please note information paragraph on caterers).
The time you will need access to the house on the day of your function.
Floor plan for tables and chairs owned by the Club.
Music arrangements
Tash removal
Delivery and removal of rental equipment. Deadlines for delivery and removal may be affected by other functions at the club. Tent and dance floor must be removed from the premises within 48 hours of the event. All other rental property must be removed or placed in the Carriage House, to await pickup, at the end of the event.
Caterers:
All caterers must provide, and place on file at the Amherst Woman's Club, a certificate of Liability Insurance. If the caterer has not worked at the club, the caterer must have an orientation with the Caretaker at least two weeks prior to the event.
Liquor Policy:
Only beer, wine, and champagne may be served and only by a designated bar tender. Cash bar and beer kegs are not permitted. If liquor is to be served a Liquor Event Insurance Binder (available from your insurance agent) must be submitted along with your final payment.
Music and Dancing:
Only the rug next to the piano may be rolled up for dancing. Please discuss music arrangements with the Function Manager.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted in the house.
Parking:
Guests may park in the driveway or parking lot. Under no circumstances may cars park on the grass. As parking at the club is limited (about 30-35 cars), we strongly recommend that you encourage guests to ride together. Excess parking is available on Mattoon Street, around the corner from the club. You may want to arrange for a friend or guest to help facilitate parking at the beginning of your event.
